Gifts-in-kind are non-monetary gifts donated to the school. Examples of gifts-in-kind range from athletic event tickets, art pieces donated for the Auction or t-shirts donated for the Glee Club.

Since 1994, committed alumni, parents, trustees, and friends have supported the School to advance Oak Hill and provide for its future. Some have made gifts during their lifetime; others have chosen to provide for the School through a planned gift.
Planned Giving can involve making charitable gifts through your estate plans and may result in favorable financial benefits for you or your estate. Oak Hill welcomes gifts made through different planned giving arrangements. These plans can:
• Pay you or your family income
• Entitle you to charitable income and/or gift or estate tax deductions
• Enable you to support the mission of the School over the long term.
The most common type of planned gift is a bequest in your will or trust. Oak Hill School accepts many types of planned gifts and assets including cash, securities, real estate, retirement plans, life insurance policies, and others.

While unrestricted gifts allow the board maximum flexibility to direct funds where they are most needed,

The treasured lives of Aidan and Eryn
continue their legacy of joy and exuberance.
This scholarship is awarded annually to a girl attending third or fourth grades at Oak Hill School who exemplify Eryn and Aidan’s love of life. The criterion for the award is based on a remembrance of the girls’ bountiful exuberance for life and loving energy. The student shall be helpful and encouraging to others, excited about learning and creating and will be known by those around her for her radiating joy, vitality and loving energy.
The scholarships are awarded at $1000 a year. This memorial scholarship fund is held under Oak Hill School. All contributions to the Eryn and Aidan Scholarship Fund are fully tax deductible and are applied entirely to the scholarship award fund.

How it Works

Based on expenditures of $400 per month, at participating merchants, the chart below illustrates the extraordinary fundraising power of the eScrip program. Expenditures can be for food, clothing, travel and entertainment, as well as miscellaneous family purchases. AND, keep in mind that with the eScrip program, extended family and friends who live in and out of town can also participate, supporting your worthwhile programs.
