Our goal at Oak Hill is to create an educational community that is united by the important life values of respect, compassion, communication, and tolerance.
At Oak Hill, the children and instructors realize the importance of a culturally diverse population and embrace everyone. Each year, we welcome exchange students and visitors from other countries such as Thailand, China, South Korea, and Mexico. Most of the time, these students live with Oak Hill families who offer to be their host, and they learn English and other subjects right along side the rest of the students. This experience is certainly rich for the visitors, but also our children learn about other cultures and quickly gain respect and appreciatiation for the differences they have offer while at the same time realizing that they are very much alike.
In this time of increasing globalization, it is important to instill a sense of familiarity and acceptance, and at Oak Hill we are accomplishing just that.
