Accreditation

Oak Hill is accredited by the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools (PNAIS) and the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC). The school is also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).

Formerly a ranch, Oak Hill has a stunning natural environment. The 72 acre campus includes multiple classroom buildings, a large gymnasium, hiking trails, playgrounds, garden and amphitheatre.

Graduation Requirements

English – 4 years
Including American, English and World Literature, as well as analytical and creative writing.

History – 4 years
Including one year of American history, a two year sequence of world history, and government.

Mathematics – 3 years (A fourth year of study is strongly encouraged)
Including Algebra II and Geometry

Science – 4 years
Laboratory science includes biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy and/or other science.

Foreign Language – 3 years (A fourth year of study is strongly encouraged)
One language through a Level III or IV course.

Fine Arts – 2 years
Derived from offerings in music, drama and visual arts.

Physical Education – 2 years
Can include extra-curricular sports.

Community Service – 4 years
Includes a minimum of 20 service hours on campus; 70 handbook requirement hours and 96 Winterim hours by graduation.
